Kronos has announced its first UK tour for several years in May. The group will perform in London, Bristol, Edinburgh, Manchester, and other locations with a program that includes Terry Riley’s One Earth, One People, One Love; the world premiere of a new piece by Martin Green of Lau; works by Laurie Anderson and Komitas; and arrangements including The Who’s Baba O’Riley.

Kronos will also present three UK premieres: Sunjata’s Time by Fodé Lassana Diabaté from Trio da Kali, My Desert, My Rose by Aleksandra Vrebalov, and Satellites by Garth Knox, all of whom are composers in our first year of Fifty for the Future.

Serious, a Legacy Partner (with the Barbican Centre) in Kronos’ 50 for the Future project, is producing the tour which kicks off May 9, 2016 at the Barbican. Check out the UK tour dates and locations here >
