Thank you to the Recording Academy for recognizing Landfall, Kronos’ Nonesuch Records album with Laurie Anderson, with the 2019 Grammy Award for Best Chamber Music/Small Ensemble Performance. Congratulations to all of the winners and nominees.

We’d like to thank Scott Fraser who recorded, edited, mixed and co-produced this recording, as well as David Bither, Robert Hurwitz, and the entire Nonesuch team. Thank you also to Jacob Garchik, who was instrumental in realizing the piece, and Pomegranate Arts, which co-produced the live multimedia performances with Kronos Performing Arts Association (KPAA). We are deeply grateful for the support we received from the organizations who commissioned Landfall – Adelaide Festival, Australia; Barbican, London; Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center, University of Maryland, College Park; Peak Performances @ Montclair State (NJ); Perth International Arts Festival, Australia; Stanford Live, Stanford University; and Texas Performing Arts at The University of Texas at Austin. Thank you, as well, to the National Endowment for the Arts and KPAA’s board members and donors for their support, and to all those who presented the work.
